THE VILLAGER, as of April, 2008, will be in its 32th year of continuous existence, believed to be somewhat of a record for this type of publication. We have been publishing five times a year, beginning with the September/October edition and ending with the May/June Heritage Day Edition (matching the school year). There is NO edition in July/August. The Heritage issue ads will be the same price as the others if you have prepaid for the year.

For pick up of cheques and hard copy, call Blair Anderson 416-282-9792

B/w and colour ads must be forwarded  to us by e-mail as a .jpg file.    Please state the size of your ad in your e-mailed request. A new contact will be posted soon.

The Villager from now on will be totally electronic.   Please do not send ads with graphic content as pdf files owing to problems with fonts.

Colour ads will have first call on centre pages and only a colour ad will be accepted for the back page. Our rates for 2008-2009 will be posted in June, for prepaid and single issues.

Colour ads are NOT available on every page and therefore are offered on a first come, first served basis.  Check for availability before placing your order.

Mail to Box 97501, 364 Old Kingston Rd., Highland Creek, Ontario M1C 4Z1.

If you are submitting a business card in colour to be printed in black & white, problems occur with light colour

backgrounds and letters in relief . Reproduction of these on newsprint is poor. Try redoing business card in

black and white with distinct lettering & supply a laser printout. If your ad does not meet the guidelines as to

size, you will be asked to redesign.

The Villager is ENTIRELY voluntary, from the Editor down. Our advertisers pay the bills - our ad rates are kept deliberately low to encourage advertising and are much lower than any of our sister publications. The Villager is delivered FREE to every house, business and professional office in our serving area, as an insert in the Scarborough Mirror, and personally to advertisers outside this area. If you are not getting delivery, call 416-493-2284, Ext. 360 for Distribution.  The Mirror has discontinued the Weekender, and we will post a notice on the web site as to  which   paper will include it.

If we miss you, EXTRA COPIES ARE OFTEN AVAILABLE AT  FELICIA'S, and  Guardian Drugs OR at the Highland Creek Branch of the Library.
